How much does a surrogate earn?
At Shining Light Baby, we understand that your decision to become a surrogate involves significant personal and emotional investment. That’s why we offer a comprehensive compensation package that not only provides financial security but also recognizes the extraordinary contribution you’re making.
As a surrogate with Shining Light Baby, you can earn up to $75,000 or more throughout your surrogacy journey. This total compensation includes base compensation, monthly allowances, and additional payments for special circumstances, ensuring that your dedication and effort are recognized and rewarded.
What's Included in My Compensation?
While every surrogacy journey is unique, here are some of the benefits you can expect to receive:
- Base Compensation: For first-time surrogates, this generally ranges from $45,000 to $55,000, and for experienced surrogates, it generally ranges from $50,000 to $60,000. This base compensation is paid in equal payments throughout your pregnancy.
- Monthly Allowances: Including a $200 monthly incidental stipend and a $100 self-care stipend, to ensure you can take care of everyday expenses and focus on your well-being.
- Maternity Clothing: Receive $600 to $800 to purchase maternity clothing that keeps you comfortable throughout your pregnancy.
- Health Insurance and Legal Coverage: All health insurance, legal counsel, and complication insurance costs are fully covered, giving you peace of mind.
- Additional Compensation: You may receive additional payments for specific circumstances, such as $2,000 for an embryo transfer or $8,000 per baby for multiples.
